Meet Shahid from Pakistan

I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord!

My name is Shahid Masih from Pakistan, where I serve in ministry with my beloved wife, Lubna. We are blessed with four children. Our eldest, Daim, now 14, has been preaching since he was 7. My father, mother and younger brother are pastors and my sisters teach Sunday School in our church.

I was born in a small town in 1983, but was born again in 1997 when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. Many years later I graduated from the University of Punjab and then from North Western Theological Seminary with a Bachelor of Theology degree. I’ve been a pastor since 2012.

I have a heart for evangelism and discipleship, and have been praying for God to bring revival to Pakistan. After serving as a pastor for some years, the Lord has blessed us with two more churches. This is good, but there is still a need for discipleship training in order to “make disciples of all nations,” as commanded by Jesus in the Great Commission - Matthew 28:19.

My goal is to make disciples, develop leaders and plant churches in Pakistan. While looking for training opportunities online, I came across the Disciplers International website and responded immediately by registering for the free training and resources offered. Doing so put me in touch with Bart Physioc and before long he was taking me through the Step-by-Step Discipleship Training Process. The Step-by-Step Process has equipped me to equip others, not only in Pakistan but internationally as well.

The official religion of Pakistan is Islam (over 96% of the population). Christianity accounts for only 1.6% of the population.

I completed Disciplers International Step-by-Step Training Process recently and I am now prepared and excited to take others through it.

I am sending my church youth team to do God’s work for discipleship. Disciplers International has provided me the training and now I am preparing them. 15 to 20 Persons in my own Church youth team and 12 to 15 Pastors are already with me from various cities of Pakistan. I will never forget the compassion and training that I have received!

After training others, I will send them to the cities and villages of Pakistan to make disciples in the churches, who will then make more disciples!
